Anna Sheffield Fine Jewelry ASSISTANT MANAGER, SALES

The Assistant Manager, Sales is committed to driving sales while providing outstanding support in all areas of training for the sales team in the NY market. This position is accountable for supporting training & continued education programs for new and existing sales staff in regards to sales techniques, client development,and AS product knowledge. By managing and coaching the team with professionalism and enthusiasm, the Assistant Manager of Sales enables the sales team to maximize business opportunities while driving the team to service excellence and coaching to the Anna Sheffield sales ceremony. The primary focus of this position is delivery of sales plan achievement individually and for the NY Fagship. The Assistant Manager will also support retail expansion initiatives and business development playing an active role in the setup and sales delivery in the retail store, trunk shows, pop-up shows, and sales activations.


  • Supports Store Manager to coach team and achieve company goals

  • Acts as manager on duty in absence of store manager

  • Drives Self and sales team to consistently exceed sales results.

  • Motivate and support the sales team in the selling of Anna Sheffield products; Leads by example on the sales floor

  •  Ensures the delivery of service excellence by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism. Elevates the client experience standard.

  •   Embodies professional and AS brand appropriate image at all times.

  •  Identifies and offers feedback to maximize sales and profit in addition to consistently seeking

    opportunities to build business and enhance client offering.


  • Consistently achieves or exceeds atelier and personal sales goals.

  • Maintains a positive and warm shopping experience for all clients by providing exceptional

    customer service.

  • Possesses expert product knowledge of Anna Sheffield product assortment, materials and

    production techniques.

  • Supports and exercises excellence in selling across and growing each product pillar

  • Partners with the support team in the repair process and promptly follows up on customer


  • Follows each order through the production process to ensure timely delivery compliance with

    specs for individual and team orders.

  • Independently and proactively resolves client issues. Independently resolves escalated client

    issues for the sales team.

  • Deliver weekly and monthly sales reporting to store management and sales leadership teams.

  • Supports store management with regularly scheduled touch bases to coach sales performance

    for each associate.

    Sales Coaching and Training

  • Supports store management with regularly scheduled touch bases to coach sales performance for each associate.

  • Takes active role in on-boarding new Sales Associates

  • Builds sales competencies in client development, client retention, upselling, add-on sales,

    overcoming objections, and program-selling

  • Brings forth training materials and programs to elevate sales team performance

  • Coaches to sales strategies and goals identified by leadership and store management for plan

    achievement and profitability

  • Integral role in the training for product launches, product reintroduction, sales operations including

    but not limited to POS training, introduction of innovative technologies, and sales procedures

  • Collaborates with sales leadership to develop sales training documents, ceremonies, and best


    Clienteling :

  • Delivery of growth in personal and NY store client book

  • Ensures data capture targets are recognized and maintains CRM platform/ tools weekly for NY


  • Works with store management and sales leadership to discover opportunities within client

    segments and share client lists to sales team for continuous outreach

  • Understands local market and works with management to identify strategies to grow local client


  • Maintains personal client book

  •  Drives team to deliver and achieve repeat business and frequency targets established by

  • management

  • Cultivates and develops new client relationships through exceptional client care and brand CRM


    Operational Support :

  • Daily setup and breakdown of boutique for opening and closing.

  • Actively participates in all merchandising, daily maintenance, and inventory activities including,

    but not limited to: case up keep, back stock organization, product transfers, inventory counts etc

  • Ensures proper care is taken for all sales, paperwork, receipts and invoices, etc.

  • Ensures all orders are properly entered into POS and each sale processed appropriately, and all

    orders closed upon pick up from the client.

  • Communicates stock outs and inventory needs to store management and leadership team
